I am 5’8” and 145 pounds and bought a medium. I love the fit because it is true to size. Skirt seems well made. I am going to wear it for tennis. It also has grip band on the built in shorties! Really like it.Nice flow and looks fantastic.. comfortable and niceI have 3 of these skirts and I wear them all the time with short leggings for workouts and hiking. They wash well. Hang to dry. Just note that the shorts elastic band underneath can be somewhat tight on the thighs.When I got this I thought I would return this. The hem was not sewn but a cut-off. Maybe I am too traditional.Yet I decided to give it a try since I loved the cute print ! Tennis has to be FUN !Boy how so glad I was that I tried it on !It was definitely cute, I received so many compliments, and it is light weight and oh so flowy !!!So easy to move around the court, and now I understand the benefit of a cut-off rim !I ordered XS, it’s a tiny, tiny hint looser than I thought it was but very comfortable. I actually love the fit ;)I bought one in another pattern and so happy !!My wife loves wearing it and gets compliments all the time.Came with a highly perfumed scent, apparently to mask the toxic odor. I put outside to let it air out and the horrid perfume odor went away but then you could smell the toxic chemical odor. I would not feel safe wearing these. It's a shame because they are adorable looking and I would have loved to have kept them were it not for the chemical odor and the funky shorts material and unpleasant feeling hem which cuts into thigh. I also wanted to add that the chemical odor seems to be coming from the black shorts material. Would be nice if they use the same kind of material for the shorts as they used for the skirt.So I got a large and that's great. The waistband is a little loose, also fine. I expected that and actually ordered larger (I'm usually a medium) so that I could shrink it. Because better to be bigger than smaller for clothes for me. But then the elastic bands around leg openings on the shorts are SO TIGHT. I don't even have larger thighs. I actually have rather small thighs. And the leg openings are disproportionate to the size of the waist. It's odd AND it digs into my skin quite painfully. If the leg fabric was made the same as the actual skirt, that would be awesome. Alas, it's not.The skirt also lays oddly. The back, where it's pleated, is noticeably longer than the front. And when worn, the front hangs and then the back hangs... then the sides are shorter? From the front, it looks fine. From the back, you can tell something is wrong. I've never had a skirt fit this awkwardly before and I'm a skirt kinda gal. I pretty much ONLY wear skirts and dresses and this is the weirdest of them all.
