These shorts are very comfortable and stylish. The elastic waistband is perfect for working out. True to size and color. I purchased the orange and will be purchasing another.I needed something for wearing and working outdoor, with pockets. If you put your phone in the pocket of these, it hangs down below the bottom of the shorts. The inner layer, bike style short layer that is, got runs in it almost immediately. They are still wearable at least. * I have been washing them on gentle and air drying them. I will not be buying another of this exact pair.I got these for hiking- I wanted pockets and like the two-layer design. I wish the under-layer shorts were tighter so they didn’t ride up but I like the slightly stretchy material of the outer layer and they’re very comfortable. Side Note: I ordered the orange color and it’s def very bright if you’re looking for high-visibility colors for your outdoor workout wear.Bought this to go with a “costume” for a themed running race. The shorts are not as stylish as I would like them to be, I suppose. But the pockets are nice and I’m glad they have that extra layer underneath to hide my underwear. I find it odd that under layer is longer than the actual shorts but I kinda just hike up the bottom layer. I like to roll the elastic band down and they are still a good appropriate length. (I tend to be conservative and modest when I dress for running — no “booty shorts” and sports bras with exposed stomachs) but hey who doesn’t love a good pair of shorts with pockets, right? These are very poor qualityThe shorts underneath are not white .. they are yellow.I’d give these five stars, if they weren’t such a strange material. I’ll still wear them, but the outer shorts are somewhat like a windbreaker material of sorts. The inside band also says that they’re hand wash and hang dry only. The posting states that they can be hand or machine washed. So, I’m not sure which would be best, as I haven’t washed them yet. I don’t know that I feel hand washing athletic shorts is the best to get them clean. Also, I am 5’5” and 183lbs. I bought the large. They fit well, and are maybe a TINY BIT tighter in the butt than I’d prefer, but I can easily still play tennis in them. These are comfortable but I like them more loose so exchanging for an XL. I’m 5’3 and 138 lbs. I constantly have to adjust/pull the shorts down. Looking forward to the next size up. And bought 2 pair :-)I bought these because I love the color and they were cheap so I figured I would give them a try. The waist band is tight and sturdy but an awkward material for working out. The inner shorts lining is not tight and kind of purposeless. If you cut out the lining and just wanted to wear these shorts because they're a cute color I'd say go for it - the outer shorts material is like a windbreaker and they are cute, but I returned them because I bought them for running and I don't think they'd work well during exercise.
