I'm 5'1" and love wearing these shorts. They are perfect for when I am making deliveries and hiking and they're nice and loose around the leg without being too loose. I always buy up a size that I normally would in this type of short because I would rather them be a little loose than too tight. They are the prefect length and fit. I love that they are high wasted, too.These fit like bike shorts but a teeny bit looser to end up very flattering and not requiring a long shirt. Im a size 12 and an xl fit well but there is no extra room like in the picture. The material is high quality so doesnt show ripples. Would order againUpdate. Stitching ripped after 1 day of wearing. I’m not big. 5’0” 128 lbs fits looser than bike shorts for sure, four fingers can slip between leg and shorts but, a little tighter than expected from the picture. Material stretchy like regular spandex.These shorts are really comfortable- they fit like yoga shorts but the material is more like board shorts and there is a small amount of room in the legs instead of being skin tight. I wish the waistband didn't come up quite so high, but otherwise I think they look good and they don't ride up like regular shorts can.I love these shorts and especially the length. I'm 5'9 but have a 35 inch inseam so finding shorts that cover me are a challenge. These are perfect and I will be ordering another pair. I am a size 4-6 and ordered a medium because I like them a little loose.These shorts are very soft, high quality fabric, and have pockets with zippers for me to hold anything I need to. I use them primarily for running, but I love how great they look and feel on me. I would definitely buy more pairs of these.The shorts are very comfortable. The top band is wide, but the elastic inside is only 1/2 of and inch wide (it is not a solid band at the top) and if you have an athletic build the shorts are not loose on your leg. Despite the fit of the leg they do not ride up when running. I like them so much I am buying another pair.Fit as expected. True to size. The zip pockets were the best feature. The waistband was perfect for me. Very comfortable. My waist area doesn't look bulky under my summer shirts in comparison to my denim shorts. It looks smoother.
