I'm a big Lululemon fan and most of my workout clothes are from there as they just fit the best. I got these shorts for Hawaii due to the great reviews and I needed something less expensive that could get ruined on o our hikes with red volcanic dirt. I ended up being pleasantly surprised by these shorts. I like the area that they hit on the waist. Right around/below the belly button, I would not say they are truly "high waisted" as described (not too high, not a low-rise). The sizing chart they provided is right on par. The material is really nice and feels good on the skin. The built-in underwear are really comfortable. There is one small zipper pocket on the front of the short which is convenient. I purchased the mauve color in the example photo and I absolutely love it! So overall I'd highly recommend these shorts and I plan to purchase them in other colors.
